Inland Cafe in Baker City

Mouth watering biscuit, home fries with a perfect over-easy egg smothered in gravy.

So far we have tried the breakfast's, the hamburger's, salad's, and onion rings. Everything has been absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend.

Great diner food. Excellent service. I ordered the pot roast dip, a variation on the french dip. It was toasted, hot, and only contained the choicest cuts of beef. If you like small town diners, this is worth the extra 5 minute drive from the freeway.

Food quality is absolutely amazing here!! We ate at Inland cafe 2 mornings in a row on our vacation because we loved it SO much!

Great little diner and newly remodeled. The best thing there is their maple bars (they have a fluffy maple frosting in them! So great!) and I also love the coconut shrimp and tuna melts.

Reopened at the very end of August after months of repairs due to a fire, this restaurant is as wonderful as ever! The service is just as friendly as I remember, and the food is just as delicious. Even better, the place looks great after renovations. Seems to have a little less seating than it used to, but the atmosphere is much better in my opinion.

The server here was very sweet. It was pretty basic greasy diner food as we expected. The veggie omelet was unexpectedly delicious. They are practicing social distancing here very well and taking down names and numbers voluntarily for contract tracing if anything is reported.

Great prices. Good, small town restaurant. Service was great. Large portions of delicious food...at least breakfast was. We wish our hometown had a restaurant like this.

Wow the food was so good. Had plenty of flavor. Went up for the 4th. The homemade rolls are to die for. The prime rib was done perfectly. The staff all seemed very nice,and polite. Definitely a nice small town restaurant. We will definitely be back. Only thing is I wish the pancakes,and syrup were a little sweeter,but still so good. All the food melts in your mouth.

I'm here on business and love some good breakfast food. I had the Cinnamon Roll Strawberry french toast. It was so good. Evenly spread out as everg bite I took I got all of it. I feel energized and happy being in here. The staff is a prime example of small town hospitality. I have found my breakfast spot when I'm here on business twice a year._GW

Our trip was detoured to Baker City because of highway shut downs due to weather. Inland Cafe was recommended by a local so that’s what we chose for our lunch stop. The outside may be a little off putting, but inside is clean and comfortable for a diner and a good atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered many things off the menu like the meatloaf special, bacon avocado Swiss burger, and the country fried chicken. All of the food was very good and had a “home cooked” flavor to it. This is a great place to stop for friendly service, great home cooked classics and good value for what you pay.

Food was bland and boring. I'm fairly certain it wasn't fresh cooking... Frozen hash browns, frozen sausage patties, powdered reconstituted gravy, overcooked egg product. That's at least what it seemed to be based on the underwhelming quality and flavor. The pancakes were good. I was concerned that there was an open ice container for the soda fountain right next to the hallway to the restrooms. Anything could contaminate that. Also, the waitress constantly had her hands on her mask taking it on and off. No respect for the 6 feet of distance here.

MUST Check this place out for breakfast!!! So glad we found this place!!! Great fresh breakfast food. HUCKLE BERRY PANCAKES WHERE AMAZING!!!. You taste that homemade love in the food. A little wait on getting food, but no complaint!!! Fresh good food takes a bit to prepare! BIG PORTIONS!

I had a great Inland Bacon Cheese Burger and fries for lunch today... special treat!!! It was awesome!!! Highly recommended!

Just had a huge veggie omelette with sausage and country potatoes (with onions, of course). They even had gluten-free toast (though the rye is excellent)! The food was piled so high that it was almost falling off the plate and everything tasted delicious. Inland cafe has been our favorite for years. We've never had a bad meal as their food is always consistently good and the service is prompt and friendly. Your only problem might be waiting for them to clear a table for you right at busy meal times. Otherwise, you can't go wrong here.

After being gone a year. I was highly disappointed. The homemade sausage patty was just jimmy dean flattened. My eggs were over cooked gravy was runny. And I only got 1 piece of toast. The service was wonderful as always!!

We've been there several times and enjoyed the food and service. But last Saturday night was not good. Steak was good but my potato and veggies were warm at best.My wife's food was the Same but even the shrimp were only warm.

We were road tripping and this place was recommended to us by the motel we stayed at. Definitely worth the visit! It's a cozy, family-friendly diner that has a homey and unpretentious atmosphere. The inside is quaint and pretty! The waitress knew the regulars and was friendly and knowledgeable, which is always a good sign in my book. This is what Frisch's wishes it was.This seems like a popular destination for the people of Baker City. The portions are huge and delicious. My plate was enough for two meals! They had other excellent options I wish I could try, like the cinnamon roll french toast or any of the pies. It all looked great! If you're driving through Baker City give this place a try.

If you are driving through whatever you do don't pass this place up! Ditch the chain restaurants off the highway and take the detour to Inland you won't regret it. Delicious, puffy pancakes bigger than your face and juicy loaded burgers all served up in an atmosphere just like your grandmas kitchen. The only thing to be beware of is the pleasant locals who will without a doubt know you are from out of town and will chat you up anyway. Way to work Inland Cafe!

This place just might be the best kept secret place for a good dinner in Baker City! Clean, friendly, and serving delicious food. You can find fancier places, but not better.

The salads are huge and not skimpy on the ingredients. Scratch made peach pie, marionberry syrup and maple syrup. The pancakes are the size of a full dinner plate. Delicious tea
